Trinity College Dublin return from Oxford top gun victorious after two days of shifty and blustery racing. The event ran by the University of Oxford on Farmoor reservoir near the college boasted the best 8 British and Irish college teams all vying for the Top Gun perpetual trophy. The TCD 1st team of Harry Twomey (c), Orla Gilroy, Sam Ledoux, Georgia Goodbody, Trevor Bolger and Conor Lynch won 15 out of their 21 round robin races before sweeping hometown rivals UCD 3-0 in the final series. This feat sets Trinity College up nicely to defended the college Inter varsities trophy later on this year in Carlingford.
